Meet The Author

Esteban Serrano is a seasoned music television producer/director with twenty years experience. The first time the world got a glimpse of artists like; Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky and Pop Smoke on live TV it was via Serrano. He has worked on some of the most iconic shows in the industry, including TRL and YO! MTV Raps.

As a lifelong Hip-Hop fan, Esteban has a deep understanding of the genre's impact on both music and society. This knowledge and his journey as a father gives him a unique perspective and culminates in his debut book, "The Ten Dad Commandments, Fatherhood Through a Hip Hop Lens.” 

Esteban's ability to present Hip Hop to audiences in new and innovative ways has garnered him an illustrious career in entertainment. Through his work, he strives to shed light on the positive influence that Hip-Hop culture can have on society and inspire others to embrace its messages of empowerment and self-expression.
