This is an incredible book! As a Filipina American, I didn't grow up learning about my cultural history. When I became a mom, I knew I needed my daughter to learn about her roots and this is the perfect book. She's fascinated by the strong, fierce Filipina women and their accomplishments. It's a great tool for teaching, learning and sharing our stories through beautiful graphics and storytelling. I wish I had this book growing up!
